A long email or chat thread is a to-do list wearing a disguise. Extract who owes what, by when.
From this thread, extract every commitment and open question as a table: who, what, by when, and status (agreed / proposed / unclear). Flag anything two people seem to understand differently.
Why it works
Commitments made in prose have a way of belonging to nobody. A table with names attached turns a conversation back into work.
Watch out
Remove confidential details before pasting, and check the "unclear" rows yourself — that's where the model is guessing too.
