Human Advantage

Delegate the volume, keep the judgment

Sort your work into two piles: the kind that's heavy because there's a lot of it, and the kind that's heavy because it matters.

For each task you consider handing to AI, ask: is this hard because of volume (drafts, sorting, summarizing, reformatting) or because of stakes (trust, taste, tradeoffs, telling someone something hard)? Delegate the first pile freely — when the data is shareable and mistakes are cheap to catch. For the second, use AI to prepare — never to decide or to speak as you.

Why it works

Volume work is usually easy to check and cheap to redo. Stakes work is where your name, taste, and relationships are on the line — exactly the work that built your judgment in the first place.
