Ask where it's least sure
Every answer comes out in the same confident voice. Make the uncertainty visible before you rely on it.
Go back over your answer. Which parts are you least sure of, and why? Mark each key claim as: well-established, plausible-but-check, or a guess.
Why it works
The model can often distinguish solid ground from thin ice when asked directly — it just doesn't volunteer the difference in its tone.
Watch out
The self-rating is itself fallible. Treat "well-established" as a hint about where to spot-check first, not a warranty.
